Call for PATC Steering Committee Members
ASTNA is pleased to announce development of a Pediatric Advanced Transport Course (PATC) to complement its popular Transport Professional Advanced Trauma Course (TPATC) geared towards adults. ASTNA is looking for content experts to serve as members of the PATC Steering Committee responsible for developing the course and course materials.
Applications for the PATC Steering Committee will be accepted until January 30, 2016.
Committee members must meet all of the following eligibility requirements:
Minimum 5 years of transport experience
Currently active in transport as defined by the ASTNA bylaws
Ability to commit to active participation
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong understanding of neonatal/pediatric transport operations and regulatory requirements
Initial work on the course outline and materials will begin in the first quarter of 2016, with rollout of the course anticipated in 2017. PATC Steering Committee members will be notified of their selection no later than February 15, 2016.
