Become a Member

Registered Nurses actively engaged in air or surface transport as a care provider, educator, or administrator, whether full- or part-time. This category also includes RNs working in transport-related leadership or education roles. 

Individuals who support ASTNA’s mission and have an interest in patient transport, including paramedics, educators, administrators, and others who are not practicing RNs. Affiliate Members receive non-voting status.

RNs or healthcare professionals practicing outside the United States who wish to engage with ASTNA on a global level and support safe, high-quality patient transport worldwide.

Full-time students pursuing a healthcare or transport-related degree who have an interest in patient transport. Student Members hold non-voting status and may transition to a higher membership upon completion of their studies.

Active duty, reserve, or veteran members of the U.S. Armed Forces involved in patient transport. Service Members receive full member benefits, with voting privileges extended to those who are licensed RNs.

New to ASTNA, a Retiree Member is a former professional member who is now retired from active transport service. Retiree Members retain community access and journal benefits at a discounted rate.
